What is a PSG? A PSG is a group of volunteer parents, sanctioned by
the Deer Creek School Board to raise funds and collect donations to help pay, either partially or completely, for major
events during the middle and high school years of a specific graduating class.
What events does the PSG fund? There are several major events PSGs
primarily support, including, but not limited to: --8th grade graduation --8th grade lock-in --8th grade momento --Junior prom after-party --Senior breakfast/lunch --Senior class momento.
However, each PSG individually
chooses how they plan to allocate their funds.
What is a junior prom after party? The
junior prom after-party is a parent-monitored event the students can attend following the prom to allow them to have a night
they can remember that's safe.

Doesn't the school pay for big events? While
the Deer Creek schools do contribute toward some toward the events discussed, the majority comes from fundraising and ticket
sales.
What's the difference between a PSG and the PTO? A PSG raises
"event" funds for the students of a specific graduating class. The PTO raises funds and support for the teachers,
classrooms and the school.
Will I have to pay annual dues to PSG 2015? PSG 2015 will not require
annual dues, but we will ask for one annual donation of $25 per student every school year. If the majority of our families
donate this amount per year, with one or two annual fundraisers, we should be prepared to fund our major class events.

How can I get involved with the PSG? There are several ways to get
involved, depending on your interests. 1. Send in your annual $25 donation. 2. Check this web site for our fundraising
activities, and support the students by purchasing the items for sale. 3. Volunteer your time to work fundraising booths,
help organize events, or attend meetings and share your opinions and expertise.
